Our Game Watches are held at Slattery's Midtown Pub on 36th street between 5th and Madison Ave. The New York Carolina Club was founded as an extension of the UNC General Alumni Association to maintain connections between alumni and the University as well as to foster a sense of community among alumni in the greater New York area.

Tar Heels, head to Tribeca Festival 🩵🎬

Join us this Sunday for an alumni meetup at the Tribeca Festival screening of “Fabric,” directed by UNC alum Frank Sun (’07).

Set against the backdrop of New York Fashion Week, “Fabric” explores the search for connection beneath the glamour of the fashion world.

After the film, we are heading to Old Town Bar—just a three-minute walk from the theater. Grab a drink and hear from Frank about his journey from Chapel Hill to filmmaking in New York.

If you haven’t snagged your tickets yet, this is your reminder to join the New York Carolina Club on June 25 from 7:30-9:00 P.M. Whether you just moved to NYC or you are an established local alum, there is no better way to connect with the local Carolina community than cruising past the Manhattan skyline at golden hour.

Looking back at an incredible afternoon at The University Club for the 27th Annual Arts Brunch. 🥂🎨

What a wonderful afternoon celebrating the profound impact of Tar Heels on the arts scene here in New York City and beyond.

A massive congratulations to our main honoree, filmmaker and photographer ’07, this year’s recipient of the John L. Haber Award. Hearing about Frank’s inspiring journey and work was a true highlight. We were also thrilled to spotlight the phenomenal ’18 as our Young Alumna honoree for her groundbreaking work with Alo Media.

Special thanks to the hilarious ’93 for keeping us laughing all afternoon as our emcee, to the brilliant , and to all of our wonderful speakers. We especially loved having and in the house to share updates from Chapel Hill!
