Sunday May 6th 2018 we will be having a McAleer's closing celebration starting at 5pm. Please stop by if you are in the area. We'd love to see you.
The Pope texted me and said he will miss the best burger in New York as well McAleer's Irish ale. I invited him to our party but he said he's got something going on at the Vatican.
Ok, ok.....that's a lie. However, I really must admit our burgers were fantastic and our ale was second to none.
A special thanks and shout out to Barbara Esmonde, David German, Roland "Amen" Webster RIP, Jim Durgin, Craig Caruso but especially Jonathan Parker for their dedicated service running our kitchen over these many years making sure our food quality was always at the highest level. You guys rocked!! Thank you so much!

Finally, a HUGE thank you once again to everyone for making McAleer's Pub a part of your life. It was a fantastic ride. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

KENTUCKY DERBY DAY AT MCALEER'S PUB ...AKA ROBERT MONTANO DAY.
SATURDAY MAY 5th 2018. Mint Juleps will be flowing all day long. Our resident actor, bar tender and former jockey Robert will be behind the stick For your visual and drinking enjoyment. ;) Since our kitchen is officially closed we will provide munchies throughout the day. Prior the big race we will put out complimentary trays of our famous Buffalo wings as a thank you for your patronage.

McAleer's Pub will be closing its doors after 65 years of serving our community. It's time to retire and change gears. Our last day will be May 7th 2018.
I want to take this time to thank all the current and former staff members over these many years that represented McAleer's Pub so well. It's been a great ride. Thank you all so much.
I also want to thank our wonderful guests, past and present for making this a wonderful and fulfilling journey.
Please feel free to post stories, anecdotes and pictures of your time at McAleer's.
That would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all again. I wish everyone the best and send out good feelings to one and all.

SAINT PATRICK'S DAY 2018.
McAleer's will be serving our famous Corned Beef 'n Cabbage dinner.
We will also have our special Colcannon Casserole and homemade Irish soda bread.
Lest we not forget the Guinness and the good times that will be flowing for all to enjoy.

It's a beautiful day in New York City. Stop in to Macs tonight for TRIVIA NIGHT. Tommy C. is the best trivia host in all of New York.

Mcaleer's Pub Christmas and holiday party was a great success last night. Thanks to all of our current and former staff, friends, family and especially our loyal customers. Sam in the back is a frustrated Chipendale dancer. However, his New Zealand accent overcompensates for his lack of 6 pack abs. Happy New Year to all.

Another successful New Year's Day brunch at Mac's. Thanks to Craig and Jonathan for a great job today with very little sleep after working last night.
