If anyone is awake right now.... my cousin Debbie is shooting 2400 baskets in 24 hours to raise money for the Special Olympics.

UPDATE: 12 MIDNIGHT. They have raised over $157,000!!! Debbie has made 1300 free throws so far.

UPDATE: 12NOON The local police department ran the ceremonial torch all the way to Debbie's basketball hoop. Debbie's son Frankie just lit the Special Olympics cauldron.

Hey Everyone! My cousin Debbie Antonelli is doing something superhuman this weekend - shooting 100 free throws at the top of every hour for 24 hours in a row!! to raise money for the South Carolina Special Olympics.

She is an absolute badass - and was athlete of the year at NC State A LONG TIME AGO. Last year she shot at 94% for 24 hours - something to make current pro athletes wish they had her skill and stamina.

If you have $24 you can spare (or more) please donate to this wonderful cause.

If you have insomnia and need entertainment, log on at 2am to see my wine-infused sister Kelley Mannix Averette and my cousin Denise Dell take over the airwaves to ROAST Debbie in the way that only cousins can. It will be worth your time

Since March 12th, 2020, The Magnet Theater has been frozen in time.

That night, a sold out house was ready to greet our opening night performers at the 11th annual New York Musical Improv Festival. Just two hours before our first show was supposed to kick off the four day fest, Broadway and all NYC theaters were shut down.

Over the past three months, members of the Magnet Theater Community have been coming to the theater one by one to be photographed sitting in the theater - ALONE.

Thanks to photoshop and Blue Haus Photography. The Magnet Theater is FULL once again!!

An ENORMOUS round of applause 👏👏👏👏👏 for performer and tech wizard, Justin Torres and our glorious Musical Director, Frank Spitznagel for all of their tireless work that revolutionized the performance of digital musical improv which made The 𝕍𝕀ℝ𝕋𝕌𝔸𝕃 𝗡𝗬𝗠𝗜𝗙 possible. We are endlessly grateful for our tireless Techs, Liz Tallman, Tori Smith, Justin Torres and Tech coordinator, Sean Taylor who broadcast the shows onto the virtual stage.
Thank you, everyone for your ongoing support of what would have been The 11th Annual NYMIF. We look forward to seeing you back at the theater when it is safe for all of us to come together once again.
