K'antu is a Quechua language word that refers to an ancient circle dance that represents happiness and joy for the Incas of Peru, which is what we aimed to bring to New York City. Situated in Forest Hills, Queens, our cozy venue is inspired by the idea of exhibiting the essential manifestations of pre-Hispanic Peruvian art and offering a culinary experience full of history and flavor. Our goal is to engage with the community and make them proud of our commitment to high-quality food and service making our venue unique around one of the most outstanding cuisines in the world, with a diverse menu that ranges from the famous ceviche to different preparations of meats, sauces, and drinks. Our beverages range from popular Peruvian soft drinks, like the purple corn lemonade, to creative cocktails prepared with exotics fruits from all over the continent and the national liqueur of Peru: El Pisco. This colorless spirit made of grape juice has become the “next big thing” in the US, and we are taking it to the next level by infusing it with fruits such as golden berries, passion fruit, pineapple, and ginger.

Meet AGUAYMANTO POWER, our newest signature cocktail, inspired by one of Peru’s most unique fruits: aguaymanto, a little explosion of sweetness with a bright, citrusy twist. 💛

Made with pisco acholado, aguaymanto syrup, a touch of ginger liqueur, and orange bitters, this creation brings a little Peruvian magic to every sip.

Ask for it, only at Kantu, your Peruvian escape in Forest Hills, Queens.

Would you give it a try? 🍹
