PC: “Domestic airline tipple with spray-on gold hue and no real aroma to slow you down. Meant for drinking like it’s communion, not sniffing like you’re at Per Se. An Arnold Palmer of lemonade and melted Werther’s OG. Maybe it’s the altitude talking, but three sips in and I’m feeling great!”

Its an ugly day in New York;
This is a beautiful wine from Lebanon.
Pinot Noir, fleshed out with a dash of Viognier.
Surprisingly to see red with a white addition;
Even more so when the white brings the body.
From new winemaker El-Sabban.
Named “Wajd”, Sufi for ‘ecstasy’.
One of the most original Pinots I’ve had in a long time.
