We love coffee – the way it energizes us, makes us happy and fuels our minds for the day ahead. Tired of the status quo and a basic cup of joe, we began the search for something more. We started cold brewing in our New York City apartments on a mission to make the best coffee with the healthiest ingredients we can source.
After sampling hundreds of beans and testing various roasts, we created a cold brew coffee our friends and family would love. We use organic beans grown at high altitude in the Chanchamayo valley of Peru, giving our cold brew its naturally sweet, bold and chocolatey taste. We didn't stop there...
We started experimenting with the benefits of conditioning our cold brew with nitrogen. We were blown away by how well it worked. The nitrogen infusion perfectly complimented our cold brew by giving it an awesome looking cascade, creamy head and refreshingly smooth finish.
RISE was born. Our – now known as the “Original Black” – nitro cold brew coffee was a total game changer. We had to share it. We brewed a small batch in a keg and brought it to a friend’s Brooklyn restaurant. The restaurant owners loved RISE asked if we could start serving RISE on tap the next day.
As soon as we started serving it on tap, people from all over started asking us for it – to keep up with demand we moved our operation from our apartments to a garage until we made it to the brewery that we now innovate and brew out of today. Demand continues to grow and we just keep on brewing – experimenting with new flavors, always innovating and never settling.
Today, RISE Brewing Co. makes nitro cold-brew coffee in kegs and cans for offices, bars/restaurants and cafes throughout the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, and West Coast. Our coffee is organic, non-GMO, fair-trade, single-origin, non-dairy, and 0 calories. Our current clients include Whole Foods, Fairway, Forager's, FreshDirect, Glossier, Eataly, by Chloe, Juice Press, Facebook, CAA, Equinox, sweetgreen, WME, ESPN, Palantir, Apple, Lyft, the Yankees, the Mets, the NBA, and many others!
