Let’s Zydeco is excited to welcome back one of Louisiana’s finest ambassadors of Zydeco music, Corey Arceneaux & The Zydeco Hot Peppers!

Born and raised in Louisiana, Corey comes from a legendary musical family that includes Zydeco great Fernest Arceneaux and Rodney Bernard. He picked up the accordion at just 10 years old and quickly established himself as one of the brightest young talents in Zydeco music. In 1994, he was recognized as the “Best Up and Coming Performer” in the Zydeco People’s Choice Awards.

Corey’s music blends the rich traditions of Zydeco with influences from R&B, creating a sound that keeps dancers on their feet all night long. If you were at his first LET’S ZYDECO NYC appearance, you already know the energy, talent, and excitement he brings to the stage!

🎹🔥 THE STORY OF COREY ARCENEAUX: A LEGACY BUILT ON ZYDECO! 🔥🎹

Some musicians play music. Others carry a legacy. Corey Arceneaux does both! ❤️🪗

Born and raised in Louisiana, Corey Arceneaux is a fourth-generation Creole accordionist whose musical roots reach back nearly 90 years. Inspired by his legendary family, including his great-uncle Fernest Arceneaux, Corey began his musical journey as a young boy and grew into one of the passionate voices keeping Louisiana’s Zydeco tradition alive.

For decades, Corey has brought audiences together through the infectious rhythms of Zydeco, blending traditional Louisiana sounds with blues, R&B, and his own distinctive style.

But his story doesn’t stop with his own accomplishments. Corey is now carrying that family tradition into its FIFTH GENERATION, sharing his musical heritage with his three sons. His album Accordion Man celebrates 40 years of his accordion journey and the powerful connection between music, family, and culture.

His mission is bigger than the stage. It’s about preserving Creole heritage, honoring those who came before him, and introducing Zydeco to new audiences around the world. 🎶❤️
