Steinway Street Sunday Sweep ...a local start-up in Astoria, Queens, where residents of all ages can partake in a Sunday morning

The STEINWAY STREET SUNDAY SWEEP has been a concept for a few years now, but that ends today on the launch of our social media campaign. We want you, your friends, your neighbors, and your kids to wake up early on Sunday morning... The day you want to sleep-in, we want you to get up and meet the group on Steinway at 9am! That means hold off on that late Saturday night drink, and be ready to work!

We are looking to sweep the curbsides and sidewalks, and also maintain the NYC city trees along Steinway. When we're done, the team is going to head to a local eatery where everyone will get the chance to meet and mingle with the fellow volunteers over brunch and Sunday cocktails. Volunteers will receive a complimentary cocktail and other discount vouchers for local businesses!
