Since 1992, the Jody Junior Classic has been a part of the Staten Island golf community, giving young golfers the opportunity to compete, grow their love for the game, and create lifelong memories.
This year, as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Jody’s Club Forest, I am honored to take over the tournament that my father started more than three decades ago.
The Jody Junior Classic has always been about more than golf. It’s about tradition, sportsmanship, friendship, and giving young players a chance to test themselves on the course while building memories that last a lifetime.
My goal is simple: to honor what my dad built, bring new energy to the event, and ensure that this Staten Island tradition continues for future generations of junior golfers.
I look forward to seeing former participants, welcoming new players, and celebrating the game that meant so much to my father.
