Weller Antique 107 Bourbon has a balanced and full-bodied flavor to satisfy your taste buds. This spirit originates from the forward-thinking mind of the distiller William Larue Weller, the first to use wheat instead of rye in some of his whiskey recipes. This bronze-colored spirit ages for seven years in new white oak barrels.
It is sweet and unusual floral notes and coupled with vanilla. The taste is very well balanced with sweet fruit notes, strong vanilla undertone and sharp spicy tones, with a cinnamon finish.

William Larue Weller developed his original bourbon recipe with wheat, rather than rye. Bottled at the same 114 proof the spirit was when it entered into the barrel, this non-chill filtered whetted bourbon forgoes chill filtration to preserve all the naturally occurring residual oils and flavors that occur during the distillation and aging process (potentially making it appear cloudy at cold temperatures). This bourbon balances a rich mouth feel, with robust notes of vanilla and oak. A whiskey that satisfies the demand of the non-chill filtered whiskey enthusiasts, honoring the man who made wheated bourbon legendary.

Rock Hill Farms, like so many of Buffalo Trace’s bourbons, isn’t easy to find at MSRP. As is the case with many Buffalo Trace products, this usually sells for much more on shelves and even higher on the secondary market. However, it also seems to be talked about less than Elmer T. Lee and Blanton’s which in my personal experience seems to be due to its even more infrequent release than the rest of the Mashbill .
