Iran’s team Melli has captured the hearts of Americans for how they are dealing with all the inequalities with dignity and honor and Egypt is where the pyramids are. Two 3000-plus-year-old civilizations will meet on the battlefield of sport where all wars should be fought, so this one is a little extra special around here.

The PIT and “Saturday Night Live” have partnered to offer the SNL Scholarship to engage comedy students from historically marginalized communities and initiate steps toward progressive recruitment of diverse candidates.

The PIT/SNL Scholarship will include:

~Classes geared towards training you to be a well-rounded sketch performer.
~A live showcase concluding the scholarship to do an SNL-style audition.
~The opportunity to submit your audition packet to SNL.
~Additional professional development opportunities, as available.
