Recent Works ("YOU WERE HERE") by Elizabeth Dimon opening Sept 27th, 6-9
Elizabeth Dimon is a New York artist who has worked primarily in film and photography. When the pandemic started she began to experiment with collage and ended up discovering her own visual language by transforming two dimensional media into three dimensional sculpture.
Nature and the subconscious are always present as is a sense of loss, intimated by the forms of figures cut out and missing, the shapes of which suggest ghosts of the past and layers of history.
