Nine years ago TODAY, we opened our doors for the first time. A lot has changed since then, but the Bier and vibes remain frothy. 😉 Thank you for supporting us this long! Here's to many more Biers together. Prost!

Wooo, we made it to Friday! Bier-Go starts at 7pm, and Iron Man Sandwiches is ready to feed you. Meat raffles start as soon as we've got a big enough crowd.

We have some bittersweet news to share... After several years, Biers and shenanigans here at Giesenbräu, Peter has accepted a job in the malting industry! While we are sad to see him go, we are happy for him as he takes this next step in his career and transitions to your side of the bar. 😉 His last shift behind the bar will be this Thursday, September 4th. Come out and give him a proper send-off!!

The weekend is almost here, and we've got a couple opportunities for live music and discounted Bier!

First up, grab some pregame tall Biers for only $6 on Friday before the Orioles game! BD Sammies will be here from 4-8pm.

Saturday: live music with Dan and Chester Smisek from 6:30-8:30pm! Tikka Flavors will be here starting at 4.

Sunday Steins and Polka Time! This Sunday from 3-6pm, come listen to JAWS with Bob Pexa and get $1 off tall pours, $2 off liter mugs.

Did we mention there's a BRAND NEW BIER on tap? No? I guess you'll have to check it out for yourself... 😏

Sunday Funday is here! For every tall Bier and root b**r sold today, we will donate $2 to New Prague High School Girls Soccer. Root b**r floats will be available, and Blue Loon Concessions is on hand with all your favorite fair foods!

Baseball and Bier... Is there a better way to round out the summer?! The 103rd Annual MBA State Tournament begins today, and the New Prague Memorial Baseball Park is one of the hosts! In honor of this event, our Town Ball Lite cans have switched uniforms. Drink local while supporting your local teams all weekend.

Find this bier at all participating ball fields while supplies last: The MiniMet in Jordan, Joe Schleper Stadium in Shakopee, and the Chaska Athletic Park.

This Saturday, we celebrate Deb. To put it simply, Deb was hilarious. Her infectious laughter and quick wit never failed to improve the mood of those around her. We particularly enjoyed the stories she told, especially when they involved the antics of her partner, Dan! It's been four years since she left us, due to a Glioblastoma brain tumor.

In her memory, we host this celebration every year to help raise funds for local families and to fund critical cancer research.

Join us for a day of live music, food, a silent auction, a bake sale and more! Better yet, come and tell us your Deb stories. We miss her. 💜
