Peas please!
I may not be the best at growing peas. It has been one of the things that has been a bit of a fault of mine when it comes to planting. I never could get the depth, the seeding rate, or possibly a bug came in and thought they were too tasty for me to have some.
This year it seems I may have turned over a slightly new leaf. Are they exponentially bountiful? No. But am I going to probably at least get a full tub or two or three of peas? Yes.
Just trying to remember it is the quality, and not quantity🫛

It may be raining this Memorial Day weekend but that heat this week really dried stuff out.
So us farmers around here need the rain! And since there wasn’t rain and the plants still need water I got our irrigation going this week, and fed the much thirsty plants the water they were craving during those hot days.
I am so happy that now the irrigation is all set up, rain is here, and because of it I can catch up on some computer work which as a farmer sometimes falls by the wayside on those sunny days. So not only doing a happy rain dance over here but a happy irrigation dance too🌊🚿🌱

It’s finally that time of year where we have some yummy fresh veggies back in the farm store!
Our hours are Tuesday - Saturday from 10am - 6pm.
Currently we have a flood of greens so don’t be bashful on making your salads over this weekend.

Red chard, rainbow chard, perpetual spinach, cabbage, broccoli, and lettuce seeds are all down in the greenhouse. Next I am hopeful that we can finally get into the field!

The robe of it all

This is who will be collaborating with us soon on our farm where you too can come and enjoy the indulgent feel of a spa day (stay tuned to see more details of when).

Joey and I had an amazing experience. The cozy fire pit, the hydrating teas, the view from the sauna, and the sauna itself was such a nice day for the both of us.
