We are Michael VanBeuzekom and Michael Hughes, co-creators working across theoretical physics, scientific governance, research organization, and public science education.
SaaSy (Space-as-a-System) is our developing scientific framework for investigating specific questions in cosmology and gravitational physics. It is not presented as a finished Theory of Everything. Claims are developed in bounded stages, tested mathematically, compared with established physics, and revised or rejected when they fail.
UTOT (Toward a Unified Theory of Time) is a conceptual and mathematical toolset developed to address the long-standing problem of time in physics. Within the SaaSy program, it provides a structured way to represent and transition between different treatments of time across physical regimes while remaining subject to mathematical and scientific validation.
The Parallax Ledger is our AI governance and research organization framework. It tracks claims, evidence, assumptions, revisions, failures, and unresolved questions to preserve continuity and accountability. AI assists the work, but it does not replace human judgment, derivation, independent verification, or evidence.
This page also explores general science, cosmology, physics history, AI governance, scientific reasoning, and creative educational projects—including Parallax Radio. Our goal is to make complex ideas understandable without sacrificing scientific rigor.
Our guiding principles:
