We are a gay bar that is all inclusive. If you want a friendly bar that does not care who you are, but the person inside, then this is the bar for you. We do not have New York City prices, but a good drink at a fair price. We love to laugh and joke on each other. We will ask your name and one day we will remember it. If you want true Southern Hospitality then this is the place for you.

I want to thank all of you folks that came out to the bar to send me off. It meant so much to me and even made me tear up at times. You are and always will be my family. I love you all and just know that I am not leaving New Orleans. You will still have to put up with me. I want to welcome the new owners Gregory and Craig to the GrandPre's family. I wish them all the luck for their endeavors for the bar. I hope you all support them as you supported me.

As many of you know, Leonard and Jimmy are moving to Oklahoma early next month and I am selling GrandPre's on November 1. We will be throwing a bon voyage party on Wednesday Oct. 30 beginning at 2PM. I have had a great time owning the bar the past 10 1/2 years I have made some remarkable friends and we have had many special moments at 834 N Rampart. Please stop by and wish us well.

The patio at GrandPre's has been refurbished and is now open! Please join us this Sunday at 4pm for the Grand Re-Opening! t will be a fund raiser for Southern Decadence. Tickets will be $25 and that gets you a hamburger, hot dog, potato salad and cole slaw. It also includes two tickets good for one well drink each. Come and pass a good time with us!
