As we here at the Arabella Dance Hall & Cheese Factory transition from spring to summer, we're trading our festival ground boogieing for pool deck limbo contests and our humble cheese and crackers for more ambitious cheese burgers, like this decadent half-beef half-bacon monstrosity. After eating one of those, we're not sure we could Camembert mere beef ever again. Come on down to the Dance Hall, y'all, and bring your favorite R & Brie with you!

For this week's Sandwich Monday, we try a bold new idea in hamburgers: a patty that's 50 percent beef and 50 percent bacon.

Who says we're only about American Cheese? Big things happening this weekend at the Dance Hall, as our favorite international superstar, George The Greek rolls into town! Put on your togas and your grape leaves because we're going to take this place from Dance Hall to Discoteque. Hope y'all like feta because it's about to get real.

The Dance Hall apologizes for such a long social media hiatus, but some of our staff was out and about and busy gettin' engaged! Long overdue congrats from the ADHaCF to and on their impending December '13 nuptials! Good news for y'all... As Head Cheese 'round here, I can promise you two things about their wedding: 1) There will be dancing. 2) There will be cheese.

Happy Hallo-cheese? OK, we'll admit it. We don't neglect our sweet tooth around here, and we will certainly oblige any excuse to throw a holiday bash. Stop by the Dance Hall tonight for some sweet treats and spooky two-steppin'. But beware...our staff is extra thirsty this time of year, and they're not looking for libations... muhahahaha!

The Dance Hall will be closed this weekend so that our executive staff can take in the Canes v. the Irish while enjoying Chicago's cool fall breeze. We'll be back in business next Monday--full of Chicago dogs and ready to roll for the rest of fall!

What a great Carnival season, y'all! Good food, drink, and cheer make the world go round. New Orleans really is the happiest place on Earth. The Dance Hall crew took a much deserved (and much needed) breather yesterday, but we'll be back in full swing this weekend. Check back here for more details about the Sunday second line!
