Eagle Saloon

Directions

Eagle Saloon If jazz was born in New Orleans, it was first conceived in rough-and-tumble dance halls like the Eagle Saloon Building at 401 S. Rampart St.

The Eagle Saloon Initiative is an organization led by community leaders, business leaders, and cultural ambassadors rooted in New Orleans. The first phase of the initiative will re-stabilize the building at 401 South Rampart Street. The long-term initiative will re-ignite the communal revelry and musical innovation that once bellowed through the walls of the Eagle Saloon.
