We’ll be thinking of the great Russell Batiste, who would hang in front of the stage during our last few maple leaf gigs. He was an enthusiastic listener and it won’t be the same without him. The community at the Maple Leaf, Russell included, embraced us and made us feel at home, and made us feel heard. Thank you Russell, and thank you to everyone who works at the leaf, or hangs around.
