🏟️ Headed to the Superdome soon? Visit the newly renovated Sugar Bowl Hall of Fame exhibit at Gate A on the Loge Level and explore more than 90 years of Sugar Bowl history and its lasting connection to New Orleans and Louisiana sports.
The exhibit highlights the Sugar Bowl’s evolution from a New Year’s Day football classic into one of college football’s premier postseason events while celebrating the athletes, coaches, and sports leaders who have helped shape the Bowl and the region’s sports community.
Also featured are the New Orleans Sports Hall of Fame, Manning Award winners, and James J. Corbett Award winners. Established in 1971 and sponsored by the Sugar Bowl, the Sports Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding sports figures with significant connections to the city, with the Class of 2026 featuring Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, and Bo McCalebb. The Manning Award, established by the Sugar Bowl in 2004, honors the nation’s top college quarterback and is the only major quarterback award to consider postseason performance in its voting. The Corbett Awards, established in 1967, annually recognize Louisiana’s outstanding male and female collegiate athletes.
