With Ada-Terry Clements Credeur, on the eve of this Memorial Day, a very fitting visit to the “All Wars Museum” in Quincy, IL. This museum covers from pre-civil war thru desert storm. Has been an amazing journey, Mighty Rivers & American History. Fort Smith & the Arkansas River, Marshals Museum, old West Frontier & Civil War. Pea Ridge Civil War Historic Site, Springfield, Wilson’s Creek Civil War Historic Site. Missouri River; St Joseph, Jesse James, Patee House, Pony Express, Buffalo Bill Cody. Kansas City, WWI Museum, Steamboat Arabia Museum. Battle of Lexington Historic Site, Confederate Memorial State Site. Might Mississippi River; Dubuque, IA & the founders, Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium. Rock Island Arsenal Museum, Black Hawk Historic Site. Quincy, Hannibal. See the 1st & 2nd picture, let that sink in. Reflecting on history we were taught in school, has been great re-visiting it at an older age.

With Ada-Terry Clements Credeur, Racheal N Skip Mathews, never too old to learn something new. Ada & I spent 2 days in class, learning the basics of painting on copper with flame, from the man that developed this technique, & his lovely bride. Was truly enjoyable time spent with these folks, new friends, true artists with a desire to share their knowledge. Ada was hesitant about this, glad I was able to change her mind, she did well. So glad they allowed me to capture these pics of our time together, also finished items are produces Racheal N Skip create & sell daily. Last 2 pics are of Ada & my efforts during class.
