The Trimbach Cellar Drop has arrived! 🍾🌞

This isn’t just a w**e flight, it’s a chance to taste time, vintage and terroir side by side.

Maison Trimbach has been making w**e in Ribeauvillé, Alsace since 1626, and today the family is in its 13th generation. For this limited cellar release, we’re pouring three library w**es from one of Alsace’s most historic houses.

First, Trimbach Pinot Gris Réserve Personnelle 2017 — a rare bottling made only in exceptional years, from a tiny frost-affected vintage.

Then, the heart of the experience: two consecutive vintages of Cuvée Frédéric Emile Riesling, poured side by side.

2015 - warm, powerful and concentrated, with smoke, stone and lemon oil.

2014 - leaner, brighter and more electric, with the classic acid-driven character of a cooler vintage.

Same family. Same hillside. Same w**e. One year apart.

Both Rieslings come from old vines on a steep plot straddling the Grand Crus Geisberg and Osterberg 1 making this a rare chance to taste exactly what one growing season can do!

When the sun sets on Wednesday, August 12, only one manager will remain.

Will Kevin defend the honor of his w**es? Will Kenny prove, once and for all, that his palate reigns supreme? We honestly have no idea—but they’re taking it very seriously.

On Wednesday, August 12, Nektar managers Kenny (France) and Kevin (Italy) go head-to-head in a four-course w**e showdown.

Each chef-crafted course is paired with two competing w**es - one selected by Kenny, one by Kevin. Taste them side-by-side, discover how each pairing transforms the dish, then cast your vote after every round.

This September, members of the Nektar W**e Bar and The Clinton House teams are heading to Portugal after months of a friendly Portugal w**e competition!

We’ll be exploring renowned w**e regions, visiting w**eries, meeting passionate w**emakers, and bringing that firsthand knowledge back to you through new w**es, special events, and plenty of stories.
