Happy Friday Folks! We are almost one week out from our biggest event of the year, Iron Horse Steel Wheels!! September 10, next Saturday is the BIG day and here’s some thing you need to know about it..
If you want to enter your bike in the bike show: sign ups will start at 11am, judging will begin around 12-12:30 and will last until 3:30pm. We will stop taking entries into the bike show at at 12:30 pm. We will have a special parking out front for those wanting to enter the contest, once you are entered you will receive a number to put on your bike in viewing site for the judges.
After the bike show is over we will be doing the burnout competition. Estimated time for that will be 5:30pm. We have a burnout pit at the back of the building so if you wish to enter the burnouts have your bike parked either back there or parked where you can easily maneuver it to the back. You can ride your bike in, you can haul it in, either way just be prepared to burn the tires off all in good fun!! There is a cash prize for the winner as well as a trophy! CAR TIRES ARE NOT ALLOWED!!
Once all competitions are over with the winners will be announced along with awards handed out. This event is meant to be fun and also give you bragging rights to having the best of the best at Long Branch! There will be vendors, live music, good food all throughout the festival itself and of course, as always we will have ice cold beer, the cheapest in town I might add, and good food at our place as well, plus this years Steel Wheels Event T-Shirts for sale. So come on out next Saturday and enjoy the Iron Horse Festival/Steel Wheels Event for an all day GREAT TIME!!
