This week’s specials are a little unhinged — in the best way.

Our friends over at .ct Community Theatre are staging Sweeney Todd, and they asked if we’d whip up a themed special in its honor. Naturally, Cheffy took that and ran it somewhere nobody asked him to: Bob’s Burgers meets The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Don’t ask him to explain the logic — it lives in his head and nowhere else.

To our regulars and neighbors — we found out late (like, way too late) about street closures happening today, Saturday 8/29, for a city event. Because of that, The Crooked Goat will be closed until 6 PM tomorrow. This wasn’t our call and we’re not thrilled about it either, but we didn’t want you showing up to a locked door. We’ll be open and pouring by 6 — thanks for understanding.”
