Built in the 1950’s this iconic piece of our history was designed based off of Hollywood photos of movie lots. Later, in 2012, the Town Hall was transformed into a Taproom & Restaurant. We are also proud to carry the largest selection of 2nd Shift Brewing beers anywhere in the region! 2nd Shift, which began as a production-only craft brewery in the Western Town's Saloon, has since relocated to St. Louis, and we couldn't be more excited for their expansion!

Our Story

Transport yourself back to the heyday of the Old West by strolling through Cedar Creek's Western Town! Charles F. Vatterott Jr. built the Western Town in the 1950s (based off old Hollywood movie lot photos) so that his 17 children and numerous grandchildren had a place to play. In 2012, part of the western themed town was transformed in to an event venue and restaurant, now aptly named the Town Hall Tap Room at Cedar Creek.

Beautiful handcrafted woodwork adorns the inside of the Town Hall, while a decorative tin ceiling helps create a lively fun atmosphere, especially when we have live music inside during the colder months!

During the warmer months, we open up our back patio so you can sip on your ice cold drink and soak in the beautiful outdoor scenery. We typically have live music set up on Saturdays, so you’ll want to invite some company and grab a table for a good time!

Open weekends only (Fridays, 5-9 p.m. / Saturdays 12-8 p.m.), the Town Hall Tap Room features locally made wines, beers, and spirits from some of your favorite brewers including 2nd Shift, Urban Chestnut Brewery, Big Muddy Brewery and more! Everything we serve is made from scratch too, just like Momma taught us. No matter if it’s our Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich or our delicious All-Beef American Burger, you’ll be sure to leave satisfied every time you come over.
