Battle Jacket Beer Company Another Connecticut brewery? You betcha! We are in the very early stages of this project and have no definite timeline as to when we will begin production.

United Nutmeg Beer Company is a startup Nano/Microbrewery, to be located in an as of yet undecided location in the New Haven area. For now, it will be planning and brewing up test batches to finalize recipes for production. We plan on having a small tap room that you can stop in for a pint or grab a grower to take home (or both!).

"In the year 2015, the gods sought to test our steel. Struck down by deceivers whilst our backs were turned, we were left for dead. In the wake of confusion, the fallen and the faithful did band together to heal even stronger than before. This was seen by the gods! For the prophecy of the Sacred King shall be fulfilled. We have risen up anew to drink the ale of vindication!"

Holy s**t! It's been over three years since the last, proper, post. Who knew making beer took so long? Where has United Nutmeg been? Well, after back-burning it for a while, we considered abandoning the project altogether. We’re older, wiser, and thirstier now and with those three years came a new name and a revitalization of the original plan.

Watch this space for updates because s**t is about to get real.
