After talking it over thoroughly between us and our family, we have decided to close the Sweetwater Saloon and put it up for sale. We have been offered an amazing opportunity somewhere else that we just cannot pass down. For the last 4-1/2 years we have been trying to keep up with two thriving businesses and we just cannot do it anymore… we are worn out. We want to thank each and everyone of you for all the support from all of our customers , the village of New Douglas, the township of New Douglas, the board of New Douglas, entertainment, distributors, benefit runs, and the people who just happened to stop in on a drive. We have made lots of new friends and enjoyed making lots of new memories. It has been such an honor for us to bring this well over 100 year old building/ business back to life in such a way we or anyone that’s ever been there will ever forget. We are proud to be part of its history. We hope that you all will love and support who ever will take over this establishment. So we say goodbye to you all, and thank you. We will be off to our new adventure in life.
