Easter Monday is observed as a public holiday in many countries, including Poland. Śmigus-Dyngus is a celebration held on Easter Monday mostly in Poland, but also other countries.

Also known as Lany Poniedziałek (Wet Monday), on this day, people splash others with water: both relatives and strangers. 💦☔️ The tradition derives from old pagan customs related to the symbolic awakening of nature and spring cleansing of dirt and illnesses. Boys chase after girls and splash them with water as a sign of affection and hope that it may end in a future marriage! 😉❤

Porky Paul will be serving up polish sausage, kapusta, polish noodles, garlic green beans, mashed potatoes and pulled pork sandwiches.
