We’re bringing something special to New Bern! International singer-songwriter and guitarist Oscar LaDell is stopping at The Brown Pelican as part of his 2026 U.S. Tour! 🌎🎸

Based in Melbourne, Australia and raised in New Zealand, Oscar brings together Soul, Blues and Roots music with a rich, expressive voice, heartfelt songwriting and stripped-back arrangements. His influences include legends like Curtis Mayfield, Muddy Waters, Bonnie Raitt and Sam Cooke, while his sound has been compared to artists such as Leon Bridges, Hozier, Michael Kiwanuka and Bill Withers.

Oscar has toured internationally throughout Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the United States and has opened for blues heavyweights including Charlie Musselwhite, Robben Ford, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram and Eric Bibb.
