Yep Freshwater coming in hot!!! Still time to register for the Mill Chill - Race, Live Music, Food Trucks, & Craft Beer! Year 3 let’s go!!!!

TEAM CHALLENGE UPDATE! Very excited to see Mill Chill registrations continue to roll in. Despite the summer heat, we can tell runners are looking forward to “the chill.”

Bearded Bee Brewing Co., Bright Penny Brewing, and Freshwater Beer Co. have an early lead regarding team registrations, but we know things are just getting started. Our loyal teams like, Bond Brothers Beer Company, Deep River Brewing Company, and HopFly Brewing Company will certainly start to close the gap soon. Plus, we can’t wait to see the impact two of the largest run clubs will have. The Pelagic Beer and Wine Run Club is an enormous and enthusiastic group, and Dingo Dog Brewing Company plus the Carborro Run Club should bring in solid numbers as well.

Reminder that we are a family friendly event with individual age group and overall awards. The Brewery Throwdown is some added fun amongst the breweries and run clubs to have a team competition and find the fastest brewery in North Carolina. If you don’t run at a brewery, that is perfectly fine! Just pick random team and we will assign you to help fill in the gaps.

Happy Freshwater Friday. With the heat index 120 🥵 today we won’t have a food truck (even hotter inside the truck (give them grace))
