NEW MONTH. NEW COMMUNITY PARTNER. AND MUSIC BINGO TONIGHT!

We're kicking off November Music Bingo at Scuttlebutts, and we're excited to introduce our November Community Partner... Throttle Travel

Throttle Travel is a local travel business helping people plan cruises, all-inclusive vacations, group trips, European adventures and more. Throughout November, they'll be helping us add a few extra prizes and surprises to Monday Music Bingo!

And it all starts TONIGHT!

We hear it more often than you might think.

Scuttlebutts Bar inside VFW Post 5716 (Hoeppner-Horn Bros VFW Post 5716) is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

You don't have to be a veteran. You don't have to be a VFW member. You don't have to know someone who is. You can come in for a drink, meet some friends, join us for an event or simply pull up a stool and say hello. And when you support Scuttlebutts, you're supporting a place whose mission goes far beyond the bar.

It's a little too quiet around Scuttlebutts today...

Scuttlebutts Bar and VFW Post 5716 (Hoeppner-Horn Bros VFW Post 5716) are CLOSED TODAY & TOMORROW, October 30–31.

We'll see everyone again after the haunting is over!

Kat's Country Kickers are back at Scuttlebutts tonight, so grab those boots and come join the fun!

New to line dancing? Come give it a try. Still working on those steps? Come practice. Already know what you're doing? Come show everybody else how it's done.

And come early because...

🇺🇸 DID YOU KNOW?🇺🇸

Hoeppner-Horn Bros. VFW Post 5716 (Hoeppner-Horn Bros VFW Post 5716) has been part of this community for 80 YEARS.

The idea began in November 1945, when two local veterans decided New Berlin should have a VFW Post of its own.

By January 1946, VFW Post 5716 (Hoeppner-Horn Bros VFW Post 5716) was officially chartered with 40 veterans from New Berlin, Muskego, Big Bend and Vernon.

And they weren't only thinking about veterans.

From the beginning, the mission included supporting the community through volunteer work...something that remains important to the Post today.

A lot has changed in 80 years.

But the heart of the mission hasn't.

🇺🇸 Supporting veterans. Serving our community. Bringing people together. 🇺🇸

We're pretty proud to be part of New Berlin's history...and even more excited about what's still ahead.

👻 IT'S GOING TO BE A LITTLE GHOSTLY AROUND HERE...

Scuttlebutts Bar and VFW Post 5716 (Hoeppner-Horn Bros VFW Post 5716) will be CLOSED Friday, October 30 & Saturday, October 31.

Apparently even our goblins, ghosts and bartenders need a little time to celebrate Halloween. 🎃😂

We'll be back after the haunting is over, the cobwebs are cleared and everyone has recovered from their candy hangovers.
