Introducing Brasserie 1796’s custom Alsace-style beer, crafted exclusively in collaboration with Noble Mutt Brewery. Brewed with locally sourced ingredients, this refined draught reflects our commitment to pairing European tradition with a distinctly local sensibility.

Crisp, balanced, and quietly expressive—designed to complement the depth and nuance of our cuisine.

While our cellar may be rooted in wine and champagne, this is a reminder that a thoughtfully made beer deserves a place at the table.

We are FINALLY ready to introduce the Executive Chef of Brasserie 1796…
Please join us in welcoming Chef Chad Hojnacki.

Chef Chad brings over 20 years of extensive culinary experience, including more than 10 years at the prestigious Birmingham Country Club, where he refined his craft in a premier fine dining environment.

As a native of Algonac, Chef Chad brings both incredible talent and a deep connection to our local community. We are thrilled to have such a talented local chef helping lead our kitchen and deliver on our commitment to sourcing the best local ingredients whenever possible.

With our state-of-the-art open kitchen, guests will have a front and center seat to watch Chef Chad and our culinary team bring his culinary creations to life.

Our vision for Brasserie 1796 has always been to offer the highest quality products possible, and we knew that commitment had to start at the very top.

We are incredibly excited to welcome Chef Chad to the Brasserie 1796 family, and we cannot wait for you to experience the amazing dishes he will be creating in downtown New Baltimore.
