Hey friends, we had an error with our order this week and ended up with two CASES of shredded lettuce instead of our usual 2 bags.

So, I have available 6-5lb bags. $10/each

We pay between $11.50 and $17 each for these depending on the vendor. So this is a deal. Hoping to not throw it all out. Picks on bags will be first come first serve. 🙂 stop in and get one before they’re gone.

Hey All. It’s been a minute since I have shared an update on my dad/Buzz’s health! And boy do we have GOOD news for the first time in several years!

He had Scans this past Monday in Rochester and they CANNOT find any cancer….except ONE spot on his right knee that they have radiated and are now not even 100% that it is cancer!!!

Back in April of 2025, he was still doctoring at Gundersen in La Crosse….. he had scan results come back then that basically showed his cancer had spread, and it spread pretty bad….. his lungs, lymph nodes, right knee, adrenal glands….all.over. Gundersen said they had one more chemo pill for him to try, but other than that….they were out of options and predicted he had 18-24 months left with us. I’ll never forget the call of my mom and dad saying we had to come to their house for a talk when they got home from this appointment. We were devastated with the news, but my dad refused to take that as his final straw. They went to a consult/second opinion in Madison where they were basically told the same thing…. 😞 fast forward a couple months and he was able to get into Mayo in Rochester. They agreed he had time left. And options. So they got busy. A few rounds of radiation. Lots of scans. But most importantly….hope. And here we are 19months from Gundersen throwing the towel in on him. We aren’t planning his funeral. We ARE celebrating CLEAN scans!

He will continue with his daily chemo pill and his trimontly scans. And we will continue to pray for clean scans and time. 🙂

Many of you stop in and ask how he is doing, so thought sharing here will help me not have to repeat myself so many times.

If you stop in, you shouldn’t be surprised to bump into Buzz yourself and get to see him. 🙂 He is around on occasion.

Reminder….THIS Sunday the 16th!! We will have a handful of *NEW* goodies to try, along with a bunch of the usual favorites! :) Doors open at 10:30am. Seating based on first come first serve! Make a day of it and stick around for some “Roomba Pool”— always a good time!
