Had to borrow this clip from our pals Blü Egyptian featuring Kulcha Knox Dixon who will be tapping into the essence of roots reggae and dancehall this Friday night. Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, this legendary artist will be backed by the great Purity Attack band KVMR’s minister of Ital culture, Christopher Redlocks will be blessing us up with masterfully curated tracks.

This is Joe Marcinek of the Joe Marcinek Band He’s been one of our favorites here for many years now, having brought a slew of all-star bands to our stage and also played with another favorite, GrooveSession (both at the CH and Rosebud Ranch)
Tomorrow (Thursday) Joe will be here with Band Beyond Description. We have assembled the same exact lineup as the last time he joined BBD because it was so 🔥 🔥
That means Sam Phelps Samuel Phelps on keys and jenrundbass will be joining Jonny Flores , Gary and Tim for a night of GD adventures. The start time is back to 9:30 because of football season and it gives the musicians more time to get here when they are traveling from out of the area. It’s always worth it to stay up late with us!

What a way to end the weekend! Thanks a million Anna Moss and Joel Ludford of Handmade Moments !! We are so blessed they keep coming back to the Crazy Horse year after year. Every performance is different. Last night they made us laugh, they made us think and of course they made us dance. Thanks also to Honeyoftheheart for a phenomenal collaboration. Lastly, thanks to everyone who came out late on a Sunday. It’s always worth being a little tired the next day.

Handmade Moments are local celebrities here in Nevada City, yet we’re always surprised how many people still haven’t heard of them. Anna Moss and Joel Ludford tour the globe, play many festivals including High Sierra and are relentless in their intention to achieve world peace one song at a time. Returning from New Orleans to kick off their tour tomorrow (Sunday), they are unicorns in the truest sense 🦄 🦄.

This reel is a perfect example of their more comical side. They also have a very serious side which can send chills up your spine. Whether you’re old hat with this pair or don’t know them from Adam, tomorrow is an ideal opportunity to dive into the Handmade Moments experience. They are brilliant multi-instrumentalists, crafty songwriters, deeply engaging storytellers and they care about humanity in a way that always comes across with notable impact.

We have to start a little later than normal for a Sunday due to football. They’ll start promptly at 9:30 and play a marathon set. Bring $20, an open heart and preferably some discernment about chattering while they’re playing. If you’re off the sauce and haven’t tried our mocktail menu, give a couple of those tasty beverages a try.

Was anyone here in 2014 when The California Honeydrops did a two night run? Well, they’ve gone in to big things since then. We feel blessed to see two of their members in this band.
