The Winery is situated on property that has been in the Schurk family since the early 1970's. In 2009, Lyn started the vineyard & opened her tasting room in late summer of 2013. The name "Lunch Creek" Winery comes from the well known Lunch Creek that is on the property. The grapes are categorized as cold hardy varietal grapes & she also uses other fruits that grow in Wisconsin. Stop in to check ou

So…. About 2012, I met a couple from Milwaukee area, actually showed them some properties (since I’m a Realtor), they ended up purchasing a place just down the road from Lunch Creek.
They became very close friends to me and my family, and always there as friends are. Well, I had this idea, Sheryl grabbed my idea and ran with it! So when you visit Lunch Creek, you can take your photo with our “Little Blonde Sister “

A few years back, some very good friends of mine made me these beautiful signs to hang in the vineyard so when people took walks, they could determine which grapes they were looking at, sometime even sipping the wine that those grapes came from. Throughout the years they have showed a little bit of wear and I had to reseal them in the off-season, they’re currently hanging in the vineyard so people can enjoy them and admire the grapes as well.
