I’m gonna keep this page up and running for a while since I’ll be getting back to everybody with their drawing dollars so once that’s finished then I will close this page down.  But for now I’m going to share in some laughter and heart warming and silly posts every once in a while.  And let you in on the randomness of my brain. .Here is the 1st.
 This made me giggle because one year when I was teaching in a classroom with emotionally impaired eighth and ninth graders  that came to us because they struggled in a high school environment due to environmental situations at home .
We did something similar where they had  to pick a career and then had to research the salary of that career rolled dice to see how many kids they have, etc.  So we started off on payday and people with different jobs in the community came in such as somebody at a bank, someone at a store, etc., so it was their payday and they had to go around to each table and they could decide if they wanted to have a date night and what they wanted to do, but if they had kids they had to pay for diapers if they had a car, they had to pay for insurance and if they had this, they had to pay for that and it was definitely eye-opening because the kids realize they had no money to do  or if they did choose that still they realize they couldn’t pay their car payment or they didn’t end up having food for their children.  And as a reminder all these kids had different jobs so all their wages were different and just hearing afterwards was definitely enlightening and they were a bit shellshocked. lol 
So this clip kind of reminds me of that and makes me giggle a bit because life as an adult  is nothing what you think it is when you’re a kid, at least for many kids.

Long post but please read!
It was a hard last day. Definitely bittersweet. I’m going to miss doing what I love everyday. I tried my best and am proud of what I was able to do on my own. I enjoyed seeing so many people today. It was very overwhelming and a bit overstimulating, definitely very emotional.
I am so blessed and thankful to be a part of this community here in Neillsville. I know I missed out on getting some pictures with some people and some people were not able to make it today. However, I am just so grateful for everyone that has supported the business over the last 16 months or so. This means all of you that have come in the bar once or regularly. You all have become people I hold dearly in my heart.
Most of you have become my 2nd family. As my family is in Michigan w/ daughters in a couple other states. I don’t think I would’ve been able to make it as far as I have without all of your support.
A special thank you to Nancy and Earnie for helping me when I needed it most. I definitely would not have made it from November till now without the help and support of Nancy behind the bar who has also been my big sister and the voice of reason when I needed to breath. I thank Earnie for all his help. He has done whatever I needed help with. They have gone above and beyond to help me with the bar.
Plus, without all of you lovely people coming in to see me and support the bar I would have not made it this far. I am so grateful to have you all in my life. I truly mean that. I have always looked forward to seeing everybody. Plus my close girlfriends & guy friends, you know who you are…. thank you for allowing me to vent, get spicy, cry, listen, and laugh when I needed it. Thanks for allowing me to be heard, hugging me when I need to be held, reassuring me when I needed it the most.
Thank you to my second momma, Ms.Betty, who claims me now as one of her children and has been my biggest fan. Every day I look forward to seeing her smile and in the evening I always look forward to her hugs before her nightly goodbye. To my not just regulars but friends, Slavko, sandy, Larry, Gary E., Ostop and many others, I will miss getting to tell you dirty jokes and trying to prank you every day. Just so you guys know, you may just start receiving a dirty joke text message weekly. And one of these days, my emotional support pet emu,Bert , will probably join me at the Glass House for a drink with you all. Haha
I have so how many people I want to thank and hopefully I was able to do so for those that did show up today.
Also thanks to my family in Michigan to my daughters, my ex husband and his wife, my sister, my dad, my mom, my nieces and all of my other friends and family in Michigan for checking in on me, being there to listen when I’ve needed it. I have missed you all so much.

This is definitely is not a goodbye. It’ll be a see you soon just in a different setting.
I look forward to having many more experiences at all of your guys’s Garage bars just so you know … so you better not forget my invite. ( kidding no kidding, lol) Oh, thanks for putting up with my ridiculous T-shirt sayings because you all know, I do like to push the envelope a little bit with those shirts.

Again, I thank the people in the community that has been a source of support. It has been very meaningful. 🩷♥️💜

It’s just me and Burt now. 😂
I think he’s gonna qualify as an emotional support pet. Plus, some of us at the bar were talking today about how the cats would react so I decided to video it and it was not very exciting. I’m breathing heavy in the video because I just brought a bunch of stuff in and shoveled for 30 minutes a path from my car to my front door just now because the snow from the plow trucks is so thick and hard as rock. So…yeah, I’m a bit out of breath.

Hey folks, I have to share some sad news. Unfortunately, we will be unexpectedly closing permanently.
The financial stress of trying to operate while Derek has been gone has really taken a toll on the finances. I will not be open today as I will be getting everything sorted out.
I will be open on Wednesday. 
I will have some items that I purchased that will for sale. So stop on in for some cheap drinks and munchies, and check out what I am selling at a discount  price.

I want to take everyone for all of the support. It has meant the world to be. I am blessed to have met everyone. I will miss chatting with everybody all the time, but I’m definitely sure I’ll see everybody around. My hope is to stay here in Neillsville and find another job.

We will not be open Tuesday for St.Patty’s day. We will be open Wednesday at noon. More details to come tomorrow about Wednesday’s opening.
You’re definitely not gonna want to miss coming out on Wednesday to see me.
Nancy and I will be doing some crazy drink discounts on all drinks along with some other stuff. Like I said, check back for more information tomorrow.

Looking for someone to plow my parking area in back of the Green Lantern and the front sidewalk plowed or shoveled.
I do know a couple people who plow, but their numbers are at the bar and I am at home. If anyone is able to plow, send me a message on here plz so I can figure out when and how/what to pay you. Thanks.
It does not need to be done today but looking to get it done by 8 AM tomorrow, Monday, if possible since I’m supposed to go to the doctors tomorrow morning in Eau Claire. Please and Thanks.

Badger game is currenlty on so come on down for gappynhour 2-4 pm.
Neillsville girls basketball game will be on this evening. Also, at the end of each half and Neillsville is in the lead you will get a free shot. ( I will have a couple to choose from)
