NatickImprov was a group of improv enthusiasts operating out of the Boston Metrowest area. NatickImprov was established in 2009 to help bring the education and performance of improvisational comedy to Central Massachusetts and Greater Boston. Each workshop was run by a member of the NatickImprov organization and focused on different aspects of improvisational instruction and performance. In 2010,
NatickImprov cast the performance troupe "Penguin Apocalypse,” which put on shows throughout New England. In 2020, when the world shut down less than a week after their March workshop, NatickImprov pivoted to virtual workshops to provide a connection for their members during an unprecedented time. In early 2024, due to personal commitments, professional obligations, health issues, life milestones, and other factors, the difficult decision was made to close down NatickImprov.
