As most of you know, KCA Artists was acquired by the Cumberland Music Collective earlier this past year with President Keith Case's approval and encouragement. Keith launched and ran one of the most successful talent and management agencies in roots and bluegrass music for the last 30 years. He was one of the key players in developing Alison Kraus and Union Station as well as an instrumental piece in several other legendary careers such as Guy Clark, Peter Rowan, Ramblin' Jack Elliott and more. He was a dominant presence in founding IBMA, a folk alliance pioneer, and a legendary booker of acoustic acts and curated several Bluegrass Festival Lineups. As some of you may know, Keith passed away on Tuesday, September 03 at the age of 79 years old. We wanted to take a moment and honor the man who was such a key figure in the genre of Bluegrass and Roots music as well as a crucial player in developing some of the acts we know and love today. He was an incredible leader, agent, boss and highly encouraged and supported his staff after retiring. He will be missed and may we all continue to remember the legacy and the family he leaves behind.
