Here is the reality for many restaurants. It is 11:40am on 10/22/26. Ironically, the day after we announced our plans to not renew our lease. We have zero customers and have had one small togo order. Our post about closing has reached over 102K with such a a wonderful outpouring of love and support, BUT this is REALITY.

❤️ Truth be told, the last few years have been by far the most challenging of the 20 years being in this business and it is no longer sustainable.

Jamy and I want to thank everyone for their support over the years and most importantly we want to thank our staff. We could not have asked for a better crew and we were blessed to have you in our lives. You’re always so positive and supportive and we truly could not have done this without you.

Unfortunately, this type post is becoming the norm with regard to independent small businesses. These are really tough times for everyone and it is heartbreaking that our town is losing so much of its character. Independent businesses are what makes the our city uniques and they are disappearing.
We hope you will come support our wonderful staff and restaurant as we make our way to the finish line. This is a difficult time for all of us who have poured our hearts and souls into making 51N Taproom a welcoming and special place.
We hope to see you soon to cherish and celebrate all the good times of the past while making some new memories to carry with us as we move forward.

With all the love,

Will & Jamy
