It saddens me to post this, but the Grassroots Music Foundation (which puts music in Children's Hospital, creates music camps for kids, and so much more) has decided to cut ties with The BROKEN SPOKE SALOON in Nashville, TN after information came to light regarding the dark history of several of it's employees, which include everything from Money Laundering, ID Theft, Drugs and more. The GMF made the determining decision this weekend after even more information was provided by authorities. There has been so much work done to attempt to revive the songwriters cafe and the BROKEN SPOKE SALOON'S songwriter history, however the fear of placing the GMF supporters including sponsors, songwriters, and those attending shows and ordering food through the use of their apps, traveling in taxi's co-owned by the articaled individual, in harms way both financially and physically, we have severed all association to the BROKEN SPOKE SALOON/Motel 6. If you have been a patron at either, in light of this information we urge you to check with your credit card companies for any irregularities, as well as check with your credit agencies for any unusual activities. If you have any issues please contact the NASHVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT for reporting purposes, and change your cards immediatly. We are very sorry for any inconvience this may have caused, and the GMF will be posting it's new Location for the Songwriters Showcases next week.
