Visited Aug 24th. This was my 2nd time visiting the Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky. I enjoyed hiking around Hematite Lake so much I had to come back and let my girlfriend experience it as well. Add this to your itinerary if you're ever in Western Kentucky!!!

Visited May 26th. Estivant Pines Nature Sanctuary is the largest tract of old-growth Eastern White Pines preserved in Michigan. It contains hundreds of 300-500 year old white Pines. It is located about 10 minutes south of Copper Harbor on the Keweena peninsula.

Visited May 28th. Whitefish Dunes State Park and Cave Point County Park are located in the heart of Door County along the eastern shore. I highly recommend parking at Whitefish Dunes and hiking the trail up to Cave Point. The visuals are amazing as you listen to the waves of Lake Michigan slap against the jagged rock shoreline.

Located on the Great River Road (Hwy 61) about 2 miles north of Wabasha MN, Reads Landing Brewery offers stunning views of the Mississippi River from its indoor and outdoor seating areas. They have an in-house chef and a nice selection of homemade brews. Enjoy a beer while watching bald eagles and trains pass by.

Visited May 30th. Broken Bat Brewery, established in 2017, is located just across the river from Milwaukee's historic 3rd Ward. They have a nice selection of brews and baseball memorabilia, including an indoor wiffle ball field with leagues you can join!
