Rule Review #6: Be Aware of Players on Nearby Holes

Golfers are reminded to always be aware of players on surrounding holes before teeing off or playing a shot. Several holes on the course share rough areas and playing corridors, making awareness and communication extremely important for everyone’s safety.

If you hit an errant shot toward another group or nearby hole, immediately yell “FORE” to warn other players. Taking a moment to check your surroundings before swinging can help prevent serious injuries and dangerous situations.

Failing to follow this rule puts fellow golfers, staff, and guests at unnecessary risk and can negatively impact the pace and enjoyment of play for others on the course.

A little awareness and communication goes a long way in keeping the course safe and enjoyable for all.

Rule Review #5: Outside Alcohol is Strictly Prohibited

Members and guests are reminded that outside alcohol is not permitted anywhere on club property. This policy is in place to ensure compliance with the laws and liquor licensing guidelines established by the State of Iowa.

Following this rule helps protect the club, its staff, and its ability to continue serving alcohol to members and guests. Violations can place the club’s liquor license at risk, which could have significant impacts on club operations and events.

Individuals found violating this policy may be asked to leave club property, and egregious violations will be subject to Board Review. This rule is strictly enforced by the Club Manager.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping protect the club and maintain a safe, responsible environment for all.

🌟 Good Times, Good Food & Good Golf — It’s a Great Time to Be Part of the Club! 🌟

What a stretch of events here at Nashua Town & Country Club — our hearts are full and our calendars are packed!

First and foremost, a huge thank you to Mike Reick for organizing an absolutely wonderful Chicken Dinner! And to everyone who came out to support it — THANK YOU. Events like this are the heartbeat of our club. They bring us together, strengthen our community, and remind us why we’re so proud to call this place home. We are grateful for every face we saw and every plate shared! 🍗❤️

Speaking of great gatherings — the first night of Couples League was a roaring success! We were so thrilled to see so many of you out on the course together, and a special shoutout to those who made a full evening of it by joining us for the Chicken Dinner. What a night! We truly look forward to watching this league grow and bring so much fun and camaraderie throughout the season. Here’s to many more great rounds ahead! ⛳👫

And don’t forget to mark your calendars — the Nashua EMS Fundraiser Golf Tournament is set for June 13th! There are still spots available for participants, so if you’d like to be part of this special day, give the clubhouse a call for all the details. Let’s show up big for those who show up for us! 🚑🏌️

What a wonderful community we have here. See you on the greens! 🌿☀️

Rule Review #4: Please Check In & Sign the Tee Sheet Before Your Round

All members and guests are required to check in with the Club Manager and sign the tee sheet prior to beginning play.

Accurate participation tracking is extremely important. Tee sheet data helps the club better understand course usage, support reporting needs, guide staffing and scheduling decisions, and plan for future improvements and investments.

When golfers do not check in, it creates gaps in data that can impact decision-making, event planning, budgeting, and overall operations.

A quick check-in goes a long way in helping support the club and ensuring we continue providing a great experience for all members and guests.

Rule Review #3: Golf Cart Operators Must Be 16 Years or Older

To help ensure the safety of all members and guests, anyone operating a golf cart on club property must be at least 16 years old. This policy applies to both personally owned golf carts and rental carts, with no exceptions.

Golfers under the age of 16 may operate a golf cart only when a person who is 18 years (an Adult) of age or older is present in the cart with them.

Golf carts can be dangerous when operated improperly, especially around hills, turns, pedestrians, parked vehicles, and other golfers. This rule helps reduce the risk of accidents, injuries, and damage to the course, equipment, or personal property.

Failure to follow this policy creates significant safety and liability concerns for both the individual and the club. Compliance with this rule helps ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all members and guests.

Thank you for helping keep our course safe for everyone.
