Bill Hill’s family-owned Napa Valley Tasting Barn is nestled in the eastern hills of Napa Valley, located adjacent to Silverado Resort and Spa. Offering (by appointment) w**e tasting flights & a delicious, ever-changing food menu, two generations of Napa w**egrowers have created a comfortable environment to really dive into their elite w**es from Prime Solum, Expression 38° & Tetra. Proprietor, Bill (William) Hill, has been a W**egrower in Napa since 1974. W**e tastings are hosted by Bill’s daughter & son-in-law, Elana Hill & David Ahlm, so guests have the chance to meet the family behind these w**es. David Ahlm draws from his experience as a chef in Sweden to create an ever-changing food menu which is available to enjoy with the w**e tastings. In our renovated Tasting Barn we have comfortable, air-conditioned indoor seating, a covered patio and two tasting cabanas. Our location is less than 10 minutes from downtown Napa, so it is very easy to visit while avoiding traffic on Highway 29 or Silverado Trail.

Anybody who has been to our tasting room has gotten to know David Ahlm-Hill. With 25 years of hospitality experience as a bartender, event organizer, chef and manger of members clubs, David brings more to the table than we can list. He now single-handedly hosts all of our day-to-day w**e tastings and always leaves our guests feeling welcome. David's enthusiasm is an inspiration- Thanks, David!! 👏 👏 👏

feeling it for everyone battling the mendocino & sonoma fires right now. we lost our house on Brokenrock in 2017, and our entire crop in 2020. living and farming in these conditions is no joke. i try to stay positive on here, but have to express this. please be kind. check in on your friends and neighbors. offer a meal or a place to stay away from the smoke - it really does make a difference.
