This Saturday, we're throwing the doors wide open, casting off the ordinary, and celebrating the Summer Solstice the way it was meant to be celebrated: with laughter, music, a little bit of magic, and the freedom to let your wild, authentic self shine.

Joining us for the evening is the enchanting Madame Le Doux, offering in-depth tarot readings for just $5 each. Whether you're looking for guidance, insight, validation, or just curious what the cards have to say, she'll be ready to help you peek beyond the veil. Cash is preferred, but card payments will also be available.

And bringing the color, creativity, and good vibes is Amanda! Whether you're feeling whimsical, mystical, fierce, or just looking for a little extra sparkle, she'll be transforming faces and helping everyone embrace their most magical selves.

ALRIGHT YOU BEAUTIFUL, CHAOTIC KROAKERS!

Today is a BIG day. Like, "check your calendar twice because surely we didn't cram this much nonsense into a single Saturday" kind of big.

First and foremost, it's NEW MUSIC SATURDAY!

And holy hell, my list hasn't been this long in a while. We've got requests, customer purchases, a song someone specifically requested for ME to learn and sing (which I have absolutely not done yet, so let's all manage our expectations), plus a handful of selections from my ever-expanding email folder of songs that I swear I'll eventually get through before the sun burns out.

I'm genuinely excited about this week's additions, and I hope everyone finds something they can't resist grabbing the mic for. Also, keep an eye on this page over the next few days because I have a pretty important announcement coming regarding some changes to our karaoke library. Nothing is on fire. Yet. But stay tuned.

Now for the part where Saturday apparently looked at a normal schedule and said, "Nah."

Starting at 2 PM, Valhalla Pub is hosting the Iron Cross Warriors Birthday Bash and Bike Wash!

We've got food off the grill courtesy of Joker, a cup raffle, flash tattoos, and perhaps most importantly, the opportunity to dunk a warrior. That's right. For what I assume are completely noble and respectable reasons, you can throw things at people and watch them get wet. It's community building.

It's going to be absolute mayhem in the best possible way.

Karaoke will still kick off at 7 PM as usual, but tonight the show will be run by KJ Scarlet while Luna and I spend the evening helping behind the bar and wishing we could clone ourselves.

BUT WAIT.

Because apparently one event wasn't enough.

Over at The White Horse Saloon, the benefit for Keith Biggs will be kicking off around 6 PM.

There will be live music from Cougar Movers Deluxe, a live auction, flash tattoos, and food hot off the grill courtesy of Outcasts RC. Most importantly, it's all about showing support for Keith as he continues his fight and gives cancer the biggest middle finger possible.

So whether you're hanging out at Valhalla, heading over to White Horse, or somehow managing to be everywhere at once, get out there today.

Support local businesses! Support local musicians! Support local artists! And support people in our community who need a hand!

ALRIGHT KROAKERS!

It's New Music Saturday again, which means I've spent another week collecting songs like some kind of musically-inclined goblin hoarding shiny objects and a penchant for the dramatic.

This week's haul includes customer requests, customer purchases, a few brand-new songs that barely had time to cool off on the airwaves before getting dumped into the system, and several upgrades because some of our existing versions sounded like they were recorded inside a washing machine during a tornado. I'm honestly pretty excited about this batch, and if you don't like it, please direct all complaints to the Department of Me, where they will be carefully reviewed and immediately ignored.

Just kidding.

Kind of...

Don't forget that it's also Jacked Up Saturday! Every Jack Daniels is just $4 all day long. That's right. For the price of a mildly disappointing gas station snack, you can make significantly more interesting decisions.

We've also got EDC Online Remote Tournaments, pool tables ready for action, and karaoke kicking off at 7 PM.

I'll be there getting the system ready, fighting technology in our weekly battle for dominance, and doing my best to help transform ordinary people into rock stars. Or at least into people brave enough to attempt that one song they absolutely should not be attempting. Either way, I'm here for it.

OK, OK, OK.

IT'S FINALLY NEW MUSIC SATURDAY.

You know what that means: Karaoke starts at 7 PM, and there are brand new songs in the system waiting for someone braver than me to sing them first.

Seriously though, did this week beat anybody else over the head with a folding chair, or was that just me? Because I am absolutely ready for some sound therapy tonight. By "sound therapy," I of course mean aggressively screeching and yelling lyrics into a microphone while surrounded by other people making equally questionable life choices. It's healthy! Probably...

This week's new music selection was chosen using a highly sophisticated system known as "opening random emails and seeing what happens." For those keeping score at home, I still have over 700 song request emails waiting in my inbox. At this rate, I'll have them all added sometime around the collapse of civilization. But we're making progress, one chaotic Saturday at a time.

Also, we owe Luna a huge shoutout. Last weekend both Scarlet and I got hit with real-life nonsense at the same time, which is apparently something the universe thought would be funny. Luna stepped up, took over the show, and kept the ship sailing while the rest of us were busy being disasters. I hope everyone showed her some love, had a great time, and tipped her accordingly. Tonight, however, I am finally back behind the mic where I belong, ready to bring you what will either be the show of a lifetime or a very entertaining train wreck. Honestly, either way, everybody wins.

And because apparently we don't know how to sit still around here, here's what's coming up:

• Every Thursday – Pool Tournaments
• Every Friday – Dart Tournaments
• Every Tuesday, Friday & Saturday – Karaoke and questionable decisions

• June 13th – Bike Wash for Iron Cross Warriors. Rumor has it there will be a dunk tank, and frankly, that's all the information I needed.

• June 20th – Our First Annual Litha Celebration! We've got games, activities, rituals, flower crowns, music, and enough summer-solstice shenanigans to make the gods themselves wonder what we're doing.

• Ongoing Now – Outcasts Motorcycle Raffle. $20 per ticket or 6 for $100. Somebody's going home with a motorcycle, and statistically it probably won't be me.

• July 5th – Charity Bike Wash for an active-duty soldier and his 3-year-old daughter who lost everything after a devastating life event. Every dollar raised goes directly toward helping them rebuild their lives and get back on their feet. If you've been looking for a good cause to support, this is one that's very close to our hearts.

We've got a packed summer ahead, Kroakers. New music, great people, good causes, bad decisions, and enough karaoke to keep the neighborhood awake.

I can't wait to see all your beautiful faces tonight!
