OK, OK, OK.

IT'S FINALLY NEW MUSIC SATURDAY.

You know what that means: Karaoke starts at 7 PM, and there are brand new songs in the system waiting for someone braver than me to sing them first.

Seriously though, did this week beat anybody else over the head with a folding chair, or was that just me? Because I am absolutely ready for some sound therapy tonight. By "sound therapy," I of course mean aggressively screeching and yelling lyrics into a microphone while surrounded by other people making equally questionable life choices. It's healthy! Probably...

This week's new music selection was chosen using a highly sophisticated system known as "opening random emails and seeing what happens." For those keeping score at home, I still have over 700 song request emails waiting in my inbox. At this rate, I'll have them all added sometime around the collapse of civilization. But we're making progress, one chaotic Saturday at a time.

Also, we owe Luna a huge shoutout. Last weekend both Scarlet and I got hit with real-life nonsense at the same time, which is apparently something the universe thought would be funny. Luna stepped up, took over the show, and kept the ship sailing while the rest of us were busy being disasters. I hope everyone showed her some love, had a great time, and tipped her accordingly. Tonight, however, I am finally back behind the mic where I belong, ready to bring you what will either be the show of a lifetime or a very entertaining train wreck. Honestly, either way, everybody wins.

And because apparently we don't know how to sit still around here, here's what's coming up:

• Every Thursday – Pool Tournaments
• Every Friday – Dart Tournaments
• Every Tuesday, Friday & Saturday – Karaoke and questionable decisions

• June 13th – Bike Wash for Iron Cross Warriors. Rumor has it there will be a dunk tank, and frankly, that's all the information I needed.

• June 20th – Our First Annual Litha Celebration! We've got games, activities, rituals, flower crowns, music, and enough summer-solstice shenanigans to make the gods themselves wonder what we're doing.

• Ongoing Now – Outcasts Motorcycle Raffle. $20 per ticket or 6 for $100. Somebody's going home with a motorcycle, and statistically it probably won't be me.

• July 5th – Charity Bike Wash for an active-duty soldier and his 3-year-old daughter who lost everything after a devastating life event. Every dollar raised goes directly toward helping them rebuild their lives and get back on their feet. If you've been looking for a good cause to support, this is one that's very close to our hearts.

We've got a packed summer ahead, Kroakers. New music, great people, good causes, bad decisions, and enough karaoke to keep the neighborhood awake.

Rewriting your identity is all the rage 🎶

ATTENTION, KROAKERS.

It is once again New Music Saturday, which means I disappeared into the karaoke mines and emerged several hours later clutching fresh songs like a sleep-deprived goblin with a ni****ne addiction and unlimited access to the internet. Because, let's face it, it's the truth.

We had a couple requests this week, but then I blacked out and started adding a bunch of other stuff for ✨variety✨ and honestly? This might be one of my favorite batches in a while.

There is also one song in there that I absolutely should NOT attempt myself.

So naturally, I probably will.

I mean... uh-oh.

NOW FOR THE PLOT TWIST.

I have an engagement tonight that will keep me from running the show, but fear not! The newest Shield Maiden of Valhalla has stepped forward to seize the XLR Cable of destiny. (That's the chord for the microphones. You shouldn't let me type these things out...)

KJ Scarlet will be taking over tonight's chaos, and you better come down and show her some love, because she is ridiculously excited and absolutely ready to bully all of you into singing your feelings at strangers.

Also, important update moving forward:
Friday and Saturday karaoke will still start at 7 PM, but Tuesday karaoke will now begin at 6 PM instead. Because some of you have jobs, responsibilities, “bedtimes,” whatever that means. Stupid adulting.

So now you have a better chance to come get your mid-week sound therapy before returning to the horrors of adulthood.

AND because the universe thrives on excess, tonight is also Jacked Up Saturday at Valhalla!

All Jack Daniels are $4.

The time has come, my lovely little chaos goblins...

NEW! MUSIC! SATURDAY!

And before anyone asks, no, I will not calm down about it. Absolutely not. I have the emotional stability of a raccoon holding an energy drink and a lighter.

This week’s lineup is a wild mix of songs I handpicked specifically to make people say things like:
“Oh my God, I forgot this song existed!”
“I could absolutely destroy this after two drinks!”
and
“Who gave Monster access to the music catalog again?”

We only had one official request this week, so I went full gremlin mode and built the rest of the list to have a little bit of everything. Oldies, bangers, emotional damage, shower concerts, car concerts, songs you secretly practice when nobody’s home... it’s all in there somewhere. My goal is simple:
I want at least ONE song tonight to make you grab the mic and say,
“Well... this is either going to be amazing or a complete disaster.”
And honestly? Those are usually the best performances.

NOW.
LET’S TALK ABOUT THE BIKE RAFFLE.

Friends.
This is not one of those raffles where you toss your ticket into a fishbowl next to a fruit tray and quietly forget about it five minutes later.

No, no.
We are raffling off an absolute MACHINE.

And TODAY during the bike wash, and for the next week, the bike will be sitting at Valhalla Pub in all its shiny, chrome-covered glory for everyone to drool over. Come see it in person. Hear people pretending they “weren’t thinking about buying tickets” while aggressively reaching for their wallets.

Only 850 tickets will EVER be sold, and a bunch are already gone. Which means statistically speaking, your odds are WAY better than the lottery, and unlike the lottery, you also get karaoke, cold drinks, motorcycles, darts, pool, and the possibility of witnessing a grown man passionately sing Nickelback with tears in his eyes.

First of all... hi! Welcome.
Second of all, imagine if your favorite dive bar, karaoke party, biker hangout, and chaotic family reunion all got stitched together into one glorious fever dream. That’s us. Nobody stays a stranger here for long.

ALSO:
While Saturdays are usually my nights behind the booth, our newest Valhalla family member, KJ Scarlet, will be taking over one more time before officially launching her own Tuesday night karaoke shows! This is her final warm-up round before she spreads her karaoke wings and flies directly into the chaos with the rest of us.

So I better see this place FULL tonight. Come support her, support your favorite pub, support local events, support your community, and support bad decisions made confidently into a microphone...
