Red Brick Bluegrass Festival Red Brick Bluegrass Festival is a FREE, family-friendly music event held in historic Nacogdoches! June 11 at Festival Plaza in downtown Nacogdoches.

The Texas Blueberry Festival kicks off Friday night with the Blueberry Bluegrass Concert in the Park, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Rex Perry Autoplex is sponsoring the family-friendly event that will feature three musical acts: The Purple Hulls, Hickory Hill, and The Farm Hands.

After a decade of bringing beautiful bluegrass beats to the Nacogdoches community, the original organizers of the Blueberry Bluegrass Concert in the Park/Red Brick Bluegrass Festival event are handing over the strings to new leadership.

Please follow the new page - Blueberry Bluegrass Concert in the Park - for future updates, including plans to bring the concert back to Festival Park ahead of the Blueberry Festival.

And before we sign off for the last time, we want to extend the biggest of thanks to all those who brought our vision for a free, family friendly event to life - including Angela Wiederhold, Scott Waller, Gracie Scribner, Rex Perry, Scarlet Long and Claire Robbins - and to the many people who showed up in support. We look forward to sitting alongside you in the crowd this time around!

HAPPENING TODAY! The 2025 is today from 12-9 p.m. at our NEW LOCATION - the Nacogdoches County Exposition & Civic Center.

Information on parking, artist schedule and important things to know before you go is included here in our graphics. This year's concert is taking place inside, but you still need to BRING A CHAIR since the Expo Center's Exhibit Hall does not have stadium seating available. A select number of rental chairs will be available.

TOMORROW! Join us out our NEW LOCATION - Nacogdoches County Exposition & Civic Center - for the where these talented acts will perform between 12-9 p.m. The new venue puts us indoors in wonderful air conditioning, but please BRING A CHAIR as Exhibit Hall does not have stadium seating.

This FREE family-friendly concert is made possible by Presenting Sponsor Rex Perry Autoplex and features The Purple Hulls, beatlegras, Riley Gilbreath and Lone Star Blue who are this year’s SPBGMA Band Champions, Catahoula Drive and Steve & Sheryl Hartz, plus a young talent showcase featuring Luke Moody who just won 2nd place in his division at the Texas State Championship Fiddlers Frolics, The Barrington Brothers and Piney Woods Youth Orchestra. THIS Saturday, join us at the Nacogdoches County Exposition & Civic Center for the 2025 presented by Rex Perry Autoplex!

Each of our talented acts - The Purple Hulls, beatlegras, Riley Gilbreath and Lone Star Blue, Catahoula Drive and Steve & Sheryl Hartz - will play a matinee and evening set. We'll also have a young talent showcase in the afternoon!

While our new venue is indoors (meaning air-conditioning!) you will still need to bring chairs as there is no seating available in Exhibit Hall. Food trucks and other vendors will be available. We can't wait to see you there!
