So excited to announce we’ve been named best New American restaurant New London and named on the list of 34 best new restaurants in Connecticut by 2025! Congratulations to our neighbors and for also being named. Mystic 2025 is going to be amazing!

I’ve spent my career in the beverage industry, leading some of NYC’s most premier programs, earning Level 2 certification with the Court of Master Sommeliers, and competing in major cocktail competitions. One of my proudest moments was being named a Top 10 Bartender in the World by Cherry Heering in London in 2018.

I didn’t initially plan to participate in this “Bar Boss” competition—it’s more of a popularity contest than a skill-based one. But somehow, I made it to the top 10 (with the next cut selecting the top 5) without trying! This has me thinking, maybe I should give it a real shot.

If I advance through these popularity rounds, know that you’ll be supporting a seasoned beverage professional who genuinely represents the industry with both knowledge and skill.

Voting is free (daily) for one vote, additional votes can be purchased for just $1 each, with proceeds going to Folds of Honor, a 501(c)(3) non-profit supporting veterans and first responders and a tax write-off.

Let’s make it to the finals together and ensure that the industry is represented by someone who truly embodies its spirit. While representing Mystic, CT.
