❤️WHAT A DAY❤️
23 Teams/46 players - Excellent turn out for less than two weeks to plan and put the event together.

8.5 hours. 37 matches. Two teams left. Bloodied and battered, but still standing! Aaaaand they decided to split 1st and 2nd.

🏆Splitting 1st and 2nd - Ryan/Brad, and Billy/Bryan!
3rd was Kenny and Mimi
4th was Wendell and Darrell

A big thank you to Brent and Evan for letting Morgan and I put this together, helping us and supporting our vision.
Also to Shawn for working the bar and opening up early for us and to Robyn for keeping us fed all day!

Ewa even stopped by to show her support which we really appreciated. The APA family/pool community really does show up for each other. To the players who came to play and those who couldn’t and donated anyway, we really can’t thank y’all enough. It means the world to us.

Once Brent crunches the numbers, we will let y’all know how much we were able to donate!

I hope everyone had a great time because I had a great time putting this event on and definitely plan to do it again next year!
I pray Ginny would have been proud. ❤️❤️❤️

To make it as fair and competitive as possible, races will be handicapped based on the total skill level of the team.

Single Modified elimination just like APA world qualifiers and Vegas. As we’ve heard Ewa say many times, guaranteed to play twice, not necessarily guaranteed to lose twice.

Full kitchen menu will be available with some specials. Our drink special will be a pink mimosa.

Can’t wait to see y’all there! We’re gonna have some fun and raise some money for a great cause.

Alright y’all, I (Tim Smith) am passionate about breast cancer awareness month. I don’t talk about it much, but I lost a sister (Ginny) to this terrible disease. I’m partnering with Shore Thing to throw a big breast cancer awareness month tournament to raise money to donate to charity!! The charity I’ve chosen to donate to is Caring In Our Lifetime in Myrtle Beach. Their funds go directly to local patients in Horry and Georgetown counties to help pay for medical bills, treatments, and recovery expenses.
