🍩 A little introduction for anyone new here 🤎

With fall season coming up and some new faces following my page, I figured it was a good time to reintroduce myself!

Hi! I’m Lyric, the owner and baker behind Seabreeze Treats & Sweets - Myrtle Beach, SC! I’m also a single mom of two amazing kiddos, and this little business is something I run completely on my own, right from my home. 🤎

After my son was born, I decided to officially take the leap and turn something I loved doing into a home bakery. Being a single parent comes with its fair share of challenges, and I wanted to build something that allowed me to provide for my kids while still being the mom they need me to be.

I started out making custom chocolate-covered treats and honestly… whatever baked goods I felt like trying! Then came the mini donuts, and somehow those little donuts became a HUGE part of my business. 🍩 Now I make everything from scones and cookies to whoopie pies, cupcakes, cookie cakes, chocolate-covered treats and so much more.

I’m completely self-taught. I’m still learning, still trying new things and still growing with every order. I’m also just one person. I’m the baker, decorator, shopper, dishwasher, photographer, social media person, order taker, delivery driver… all of it. 😂 And as exhausting as it can be sometimes, I genuinely love my business so much!!

There have been times when keeping it going hasn’t been easy, but I have so much faith in God and in what I’m building. My dream is that one day Seabreeze Treats & Sweets will grow from my little home bakery into a bakery shop of my own. Until then, I’m going to keep working for it! 🤎

And I genuinely don’t think I could have made it this far without this community. You guys have had so much faith in me, shown up for my business and my little family during some of our best times and some of our hardest. Every order, share, recommendation, kind message and person who comes back for more means more to me than you probably realize!!

That’s also just one of many reasons why giving back to my community is so important to me. I may not always have a lot to give, but I want to give in the ways that I can and use this little business to make people feel loved and appreciated too.

So that’s me. 🥹🤎 Just a mom, baking out of her home, raising two beautiful kids, chasing a pretty big dream and trusting God with where it takes us 🙏🏾

And now we’re heading into my FAVORITE (and busiest 😂) time of year!

My Apple Cider Whoopie Pies are back for their 3rd year!! And every year, they sell FAST.

These aren’t just apple cider inspired either. They have a strong apple cider + warm fall spice flavor, rolled in cinnamon sugar and sandwiched with my homemade caramel buttercream. 🤎

And yess, they have a true, soft whoopie pie texture! Everything just works together! 🍎🍂

Another fall favorite is making a return!! 🍁

These were in demand last year, so of course they had to make a return!🤎

My Maple Leaf Cookies are filled with maple cinnamon buttercream and dipped in rich chocolate. 🍫

But, aside from how delicious they are, my favorite part is making them. No two leaves are exactly the same. Each one is individually made, filled and decorated by hand, and I love getting to make every one a little different.

So when I say my treats are made with love, I really mean it! 🤎

I can’t wait to make these again this year!!
