Memorial Day is a day of remembrance. It is a solemn holiday dedicated to honoring military personnel who have died while serving in the Armed Forces. This day is an emotional day and can be difficult for Veterans and families alike. The Post has recently learned of fireworks on Memorial Day at 2045 at the Borough field. Every attempt was made to reschedule it for another day besides Memorial Day. Fireworks can escalate these emotions and trigger deeper issues. For those Veteran's and families that may need assistance or someone to talk to, here are a few resources available.

Last minute announcement ! In light of the recent cancelation of the Borough egg hunt, The
Myerstown VFW Post 6076 will be holding a Easter egg hunt for our community children!
It will be held at the Post (410 w Main Ave Myerstown) and begins at 9am!
Age groups as follows: 0-2 , 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
(We ask for patience as our preparation time is very, very short.)
