Today is one of those days where I’m feeling both proud and hurt.

Proud because I took a dream and turned it into reality. Krave wasn’t just a restaurant and bar—it was a vision, a risk, countless sleepless nights, sacrifices, lessons, friendships, and memories. We brought something different to Muscatine, and no matter what anyone says, I’m proud of what we built.

Hurt because closing a chapter you’ve poured your heart into is never easy. Walking through empty rooms and seeing the quiet where laughter, music, and conversation once filled the space hits differently.

But this isn’t the end of my story. It’s simply the end of a chapter. Every success, every mistake, every lesson learned at Krave is coming with me into the next season of life.

Thank you to everyone who supported us, believed in us, ate with us, danced with us, worked beside us, and helped make Krave what it was. You will always be part of this journey.

Muscatine was the test run.

The next chapter starts now.

If you have left anything at Krave — an ID, credit card, jacket, coat, sweater, or any personal belongings — please contact me or pick it up by tomorrow.

I have a break room full of items that have been left behind over time. Anything not claimed by tomorrow will be donated.

Krave is officially closed. What started as a vision turned into a movement, and this weekend showed us just how much love and support this community really had for us. Every plate sold, every share, every hug, every “we’re gonna miss y’all” meant more than you know.

Muscatine was the test run. We learned, we struggled, we grew, and we created something different. We brought soul, energy, culture, and vibes that made people talk. Now it’s time for the next chapter.

Austin, Texas… 2027 Krave will be back and running bigger, smarter, and stronger. Texas is all action. Time to grow, elevate, and take everything we learned to the next level.

Thank you to everyone who supported Krave from day one until the very last night. This isn’t goodbye forever… it’s just “see you later.”

LAST CALL 🚨 The kitchen is open until 1AM!

Tonight is officially the FINAL NIGHT of Krave. After tonight, the doors will close and Krave will not reopen.

Come get one last plate, one last drink, one last vibe, and shake something with us one final time. DJ Chris is closing the night out and the energy is definitely in the building.

If you ever said you were gonna come to Krave one more time… this is your chance.

KRAVE FAMILY… this Saturday, May 23rd will officially be our LAST DAY in the building.

One last chance to get your favorite food, catch a vibe, hear good music, and experience Krave one more time before this chapter closes. We’re opening back up for ONE DAY ONLY to clear out the rest of our inventory, so once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Limited menu but we’re bringing back favorites:
Gyros • Italian Beef • Chicken Philly • Catfish • Tilapia • Bone-In Wings • Pizza Puffs • Mac & Cheese • Greens • Yams • Spaghetti • Cornbread & more.

DoorDash, online ordering, pickup, and dine-in will all be available.

DJ Chris closing the night out from 9PM-2AM. Come get a plate and shake something one last Saturday night with us.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everybody that supported Krave through it all. The love, laughs, late nights, music, and memories will never be forgotten. Let’s end this chapter the right way.

Saturday May 23rd — Krave’s FINAL day open.

We open from 12PM-2AM with limited inventory and all your favorites while supplies last. This is it, no reruns, no “one more weekend.” Once the food is gone and the doors close, Krave is officially closing this chapter.

DJ Chris will be closing out the night, so come get a plate, grab a drink, and shake something one final time at Krave. Let’s end this thing the right way with good eats, good vibes, music, and memories.

We’ll have: gyros, whole chicken wings, bone-in wings, pizza puffs 2 for $6, tilapia 2 for $6, chicken and steak Philly, Italian beef, shrimp po boy, fried shrimp, catfish fillets, whole catfish, chicken gizzards, chicken strips, burgers, meatloaf, jerk salmon, jerk chicken, and jerk chicken tacos.

Sides available while they last: collard greens with smoked turkey, cabbage, red beans and rice, mac and cheese, spaghetti, candied yams, and cornbread. $3.50 each

Desserts: fresh banana pudding, peach cobbler, and chocolate cake. $2.99 each

Fried green tomatoes, fried mushrooms, fried jalapeño Mac & cheese bites, jalapeño crab bites, and fried okra only $5 each
